The REAL challenge is what to cook!

Wherever you go, wherever you are, food is the common denominator between religion, races and cultures, it’s the one thing we all share in common. Food brings joy to people, regardless of nationality. I have an adventurous palette and that’s why I love the Bay Area. Pick a country, I’m darn sure you can find a restaurant serving that country’s cuisine. My friends all come from different cultures and nations, I’m sure we are diverse enough to form our own “united nations”. To me, being willing to taste something different, is a form of showing respect to one’s culture.
Some may travel to a foreign land to learn about her culture and history, but for me, I’ll explore and remember her beauty through her cuisine. For example, I had the best whiskey in Scotland, tasted the best pork roast (Schweinebraten) in Germany, most fun haggling experiences in Istanbul’s Spice Bazaar and tried my first “space cake” in Amsterdam.
Lots of delicious fond memories because of food!
